This summer Floored has been fortunate to play host to eight extraordinarily talented interns. In addition to being an interesting group to have around the office they’ve each made valuable contributions to the teams they’re working on.

Research intern Andrey Dimitrov recently graduated with an M.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia. He also holds a M.Arch from M.I.T. and previously worked in architecture and construction consulting.
Design intern Ji-Young Lee is a Communication Design student at Carnegie Mellon University. She loves traveling to various places, enjoy eating good food (but not sweets), and taking naps.
Production intern Conor Ryan is an engineering student at the University of Pennsylvania where he is studying Digital Media Design, a specialized computer science major that allows for an in-depth exploration of computer graphics. His main interests are technology, computers, graphics, and (more recently) economics.
Software engineering intern Joanna Wang is an undergraduate student at Princeton University studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She lives in Toronto and loves dogs, food, and art.
Research Intern Zachary Sherin is an Electrical Engineering and Computer Science major at MIT, where most of his work has been with the Game Lab. He likes making virtual reality experiences, rock climbing, and the food in Chinatown
Research intern Sema Berkiten is a Ph.D. student at Princeton University in the Computer Graphics group. Her research interests are material capturing/ synthesis, photometric stereo, 2/2.5/3D registration, and 3D geometry beautification. She loves coffee and mochi.
Business Intern Virginia Calkins is an MBA student at Stanford University. She previously studied architecture and economics at Yale, then worked in the federal government and in architecture at Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
Applications intern Michael Suo (pictured at right above) is a Computer Science student at Harvard University. He enjoys watching TV, playing painfully complicated board games, and feeding other people's cats.
